👋 I'm Disha

a hacker, designer, nutella lover

I was born in India 🇮🇳, and grew up in New Delhi & Toronto 🇨🇦. I’m a Bachelor of Interaction Design graduate from Sheridan College. Previously I worked at a web3/crypto startup — Twali, based in NYC. My passion for web3 was ignited by being introduced to amazing teams, communities, and spaces in my year of traveling. Before that, I worked in more trad roles such as a UX Designer for the Government of Ontario (Ontario Digital Service). My work scoped from working on design systems to organizing research sessions with various ministry clients for their products & services.

My passion for design grew from being involved in the hacker community which has led me to lead a hackathon club full of designers, developers, artists, and marketing students at my college‍ in the past. I continue to be involved in spaces to further my learning and growth. Current adventures are involved with She-Fi, Women in Web3 (Toronto & NYC).

Whether it be as a mentor or mentee, giving back to the community that helped me grow as a designer brings me fulfillment.
